Scenario
After witnessing a strange, traumatic incident with a patient, a psychiatrist becomes increasingly convinced that she is being threatened by a strange entity.. A few days before the premiere on September 30, 2022, the cast of the film appeared at various baseball games, sitting behind home plate still and smiling as he stared into the camera, unmoving, though fans in the audience were understandably concerned as he wore Smile T-shirts. Another soon appeared in the background with the crowd during the Today show..
Rose Cotter: What are you?
When the cup is shown at her feet, she is wearing stockings. A few seconds later, as she checks the door, she’s wearing lace-up shoes. Based on what happens later at the later party, there are a few continuity issues that may not be "bugs" but it may actually be intentional to show "interruptions" in Rose’s mind/sanity…

The Monster: Because your mind is so attractive.. Paramount’s opening and closing logos feature a curved line in the shape of a smile at the base of a mountain. Featured in Chris Stuckman’s Movie Reviews: Smile (2022).

You never know when it’s your turn to watch another creature squirm as it dislodges from its coil, imparting to you a turmoil that will overwhelm and steal away all your passion and zeal, there’s just no way to grin and bear it, no getting away while wearing it. A reasonably original take on a very common horror theme with an overused metaphor, but Saucy Bacon’s performance is remarkable and convincing, as is the escalation, with one or two genuinely scary moments that raise the tension and keep you engaged enough to hope for more. The special effects are good and the potential for parts 2, 3 and more in the near future remains bright with you as the title role.
