The film’s subtitle “Folie a Deux” means “the folly of two” in French
Scenario
Struggling with his dual identity, failed comedian Arthur Fleck meets the love of his life, Harley Quinn, while incarcerated at Arkham State Hospital. Lady Gaga, Brendan Gleeson and writer-director Todd Phillips share what scared them most about tackling the musical sequel. Plus, Gaga talks about how she got into her dark persona and stayed there. This initially led to speculation of Harley Quinn appearing in the film, which was confirmed shortly after.
It is also known as Lasègue-Falret syndrome
The name Folie a Deux comes from the 19th century French psychiatrists Charles Lasègue and Jules Falret. The term was coined to refer to two or more people who share the same madness or delusion. The foreman of the jury refers to “the people of New York” instead of Gotham City. This is because New York State is the plaintiff in the criminal trial, and this version of Gotham City is apparently located in New York State (most versions list Gotham City in New Jersey).
The film opens with the Looney Tunes title sequence with the Warner Bros

Joker 2 is a bad sequel
The acting of the actors is good but the script of the movie is terrible. It’s an accurate description of the movie. The actors are good, but the movie is so boring that I won’t watch it again, I only had to watch it once and that’s it, I didn’t like it. I don’t even recommend it because I don’t think it’s a good movie so I don’t recommend it.
I do not recommend it, those who saw the first Joker movie will be greatly disappointed, it is a meaningless sequel
Making sequels is often a risk, and in this case, the sequel fails not because of the actors, but because of a bad script. Check out our list of exciting new films from this year’s film festivals, including Venice, TIFF, the New York Film Festival and more.
