At about minute 31, Rose breaks the glass when her alarm goes off
Scenario
Having witnessed a strange, traumatic incident with a patient, the psychiatrist becomes increasingly convinced that he is threatened by a strange entity. A couple of days before the release of the film (September 30, 2022), the actors appeared at various baseball games sitting down. behind his plate, stood motionless and smiled, looked at the camera and did not move, despite the understandable concern of the fans in Smile T-shirts in the crowd. Another soon appeared in the background in the audience during the Today show. When glass is visible on his feet, it means he is wearing socks.
Rose Cotter: Who are you?
A few seconds later, when he checks the door, he’s wearing lace-up shoes. Judging by what happens further in the party, there are several problems with succession, which are not necessarily “mistakes”. but in fact it may be intentional to show “breaks”; Rose is conscious/sane. Why are you doing this to me? Monster: Because your mind is so attractive.
I turned out to be wrong

When the trailer came out, I thought it was going to be another stupid and inept piece of shit.
However, the main character was good enough to last the entire show
From the very beginning, everything from directing, acting to cinematography and sound design was simply amazing. I could not understand how this feat was accomplished with such a small budget, but watching the film was simply mesmerizing. The horror turned out to be quite impressive with screamers and terrifying moments, albeit cheap, but not so disturbing. They managed to raise the tension so well that they were never going to soften it until the very end. The plot was simple enough to connect all the relevant characters and I could care about them, although some might complain that 90% of the characters were just secondary characters and I could agree.
Smile coped with it decently, but don’t expect an Oscar-worthy performance from him
The only thing that could not be suitable for the general public is mental illness. And no, this was not exactly the main theme, so try not to stop halfway, because the last act of the film presents surprises. Try it. I would say that for horror fans like me, it was worth the time spent. It was not just a continuation of “Annabel” or “Insidious”, but something more.
