Scenario
An agnostic sex podcaster and a newly single rabbi fall in love; figuring out if their relationship will survive their wildly different lives and interfering families. Originally titled “Shiksa” which is also the last word in the first episode. Adam Brody and Kristen Bell have incredible chemistry on screen. I really enjoyed this show – it was much more than I expected. It was easy to watch, engaging, super funny and charming for the entire 10 episodes. I do wish the episodes were a bit longer though – they knocked off about 26-30 minutes per episode, but even that made it very easy to watch. I devoured it all in one sitting last night. I’m anxiously waiting for Netflix to confirm another season. If he doesn’t get another one, I’ll be pissed. He left a bit on the cliff hanger so I need more. I’m already starting the second iteration of the series.
